Becoming a CEO was never an overnight success for me. It has always been a dream, especially owning my own brand in perfumes, clothing, and fashion accessories. This dream was built over time, through hard work, learning, and persistence.

From a very young age, I learned what it meant to work for survival. While still in school, I did different jobs — I washed and cleaned, cooked for people, and even made hair just to support myself. These early experiences shaped my mindset and taught me responsibility, discipline, and independence.
After finishing my secondary school education, I worked with a woman who was like my NYSC aunty and also taught me in school. She often told me I had good writing skills and that I was always neat and presentable. Through her, I started selling clothes in her friend’s shop, along with bags and shoes. That experience sparked my love for fashion and business.

Although I enjoyed it, I later moved to Lagos to reunite with my parents, as I had been raised by my grandmother. Growing up, I learned a lot from the people around me. Many were successful business owners who did not depend solely on their certificates to survive. Watching them inspired me and strengthened my desire to become a businesswoman.
I tried selling online under different brand names, but things didn’t work out at first. I faced disappointments, setbacks, and even scams. There were moments I cried, prayed, and felt like giving up — but I never did.

One major turning point in my journey was the support of my spouse. He believed in me deeply and encouraged me to rise again each time I fell. He guided me to one of his stores, where I learned how to rebuild and grow properly, especially in my perfume business. My love for perfumes started in my childhood days. I have always loved mixing things together, creating unique scents, because I never wanted my fragrance to be easily copied. That creativity is now a strong part of my brand identity.
